& CONTRACTS

THESE ARE BASE COMMISSION PRICES, AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE DEPENDING ON YOUR ORDER.

Please read all of the following information completely before placing an order. If you have questions regarding an order please email me at: thedantesaunders@gmail.com

Commissions are entirely for the client’s consumption and business, I do not place barriers or limits on what you can order.
However, below is a short list of things I will not create under any circumstances.

I WILL NOT CREATE:

  • Logos/Merch for hate groups that I, personally, as the creator of the art, perceive as illegal or hateful.

  • Exact copies of other artist’s work. (This does not apply to using reference sheets!)

  • Pornographic or illegal images depicting children.

 

PRICES WILL CHANGE DEPENDING ON THESE FACTORS:

  • Detail. More details mean it will take more time. Paintings will take longer than a sketch/line art and require more energy. $25-$50+ 

  • Commercial use/Product art. If you’re using the art I create for you to sell products (examples: book covers, logo for shirts, posters for concerts, website/blog backgrounds and banners etc…) $25+

  • Deadline. The less time I have to complete a project requires me to rush and miss other opportunities, it will alter price anywhere from $50-$100+ per month advance warning. To AVOID THIS FEE PLEASE SEND ORDERS AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE. I typically ask for at least 2 months in advance to wave this fee. Next day orders are $100 flat rate fee additional to other costs.

  • Additional characters. Expect at least $10 per character AFTER two characters. 

  • Editing. If WIPs are sent to the client and refused, based on their lack of communication/supplying reference, AFTER three send backs will be, $20 per edit and resend.

  • Adding Font. If font style and document link is provided, it’s only $10 to add. But if I must research a font online to provide for your project that’s $20+ and $50+ to create an original font. (This falls under editing and is subject to those same guidelines.)

  • Amount of images. Additional $10 per image AFTER five.


To place an order, please know ahead of time exactly what you’re wanting purchased and the time frame you need it finished by. Commissions will be finished in the order they’re received.
The sooner I have the order in it’s entirety, the sooner it will be completed. Being sure to include everything below speeds up the process and gets you the finished product faster.

Below is a list of things you should (but are not required to, unless marked otherwise) provide when ordering.


INCLUDE WHEN ORDERING:

  • References material. This could be reference sheets, pictures or descriptions of characters, setting, poses and environment. The more details and information the better. (*REQUIRED*)

  • Time Frame. How soon you will need this finished by. (example: printing company for a book cover needs it by 1/1/2018.)

  • Contact information. Additional/preferred email, text number, website where I can contact and send the information and final image(s).

  • ½ Payment. Half of the entire payment, understood at that time, will be given up front. If edits (please see EDIT section above.) take place between order placement and completion, you will be alerted able to determine if you want those changes made and submit to the fees. (*REQUIRED*)

  • Contract: If you’re wanting this to be a contracted project to protect yourself (understandable.) Please include the documents for my review.

As with anything, I reserve the right to:
1.) Refuse your commission/order.
2.) Artist liberties.
I will not discontinue a commission once the order is placed and I begin work.
If for any reason you wish to discontinue the commission before completion, the ½ upfront payment is NOT REFUNDABLE.
As I already spent time creating your product and held a slot for it, losing business with other customers.

Failure to pay by the negotiated/agreed date will result in a 3 day grace period.

 If final payments have not been processed by the end of this grace period: There will be a $10 fee per day following the date first agreed upon.

PAYMENT METHODS:

  • Paypal. 

  • Venmo.

  • Money order. (Please inquire)
